Local Savour Roasted Cauliflower Wraps

In the family of plants, the cauliflower is related to kale, cabbage, broccoli and collard greens. They say you can’t pick your family (you can pick your friends) but I think that the cauliflower’s in good company here. This thick, rich and hearty vegetable appears in the middle of winter in vibrant white, orange, green or purple – right when we seem to need a splash of color – and it freezes well so stock up now so you can enjoy some of these little “cabbage flowers” in the midst of the long, hot summer days. Cauliflower is fine straight-up but sometimes I like to just roast it slowly to help bring out it’s true flavors and slight nuttiness – The Local Savour Roasted Cauliflower Wraps do just that. Serve these as an appetizer, lunch, light dinner or use it for dipping and hey, another plus? these will help you stayon track if you made a certain health resolution this year – Win!
