Ingredients
  • 4 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 1 medium lemon zest and juice
  • 2 Tablespoons tahini paste
  • 1 large clove garlic
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • veggies, bread or crackers for serving

Instructions
  1. Place broccoli into a vegetable steamer and pan. Add enough water to cover the bottom of the pan and just slightly touch the bottom of the broccoli in steamer. Place pan over medium high heat. Bring to a boil and allow to steam for 4-6 minutes or until fork tender. Remove from steam pan and place into a blender or food processor.
  2. Next, add in the lemon zest and juice, followed by the tahini paste, garlic clove, onion powder, and salt. Blend or pulse together until well combined and smooth. Serve with freshly sliced vegetables or bread, and/or crackers for dipping. May also be used as a sandwich spread.
