September always seems like a mad scramble to nab the last of the tomato season. Hunting them down, gathering them up and canning, storing and devouring a few of ones findings along the way. Until we meet again my sweet, juicy and all-flavorful little tomatoes –– I will enjoy a Local Savour Caprese Panini Bagel with Sriracha Mayonnaise. A soft-on-the-inside, crunchy-on-the-outside bagel holds together a slightly warm tomato with fresh mozzarella cheese alongside bright basil and a spicy Sriracha mayonnaise ties it all together. Fresh tomatoes, you will be missed –– this is not a good-bye but merely a pause and a delicious sandwich to celebrate the season you gave us.
