Antonelli’s Cheese Shop – Cheese for all! Bring to those holiday parties, cook with or simply enjoy – you will find some of the best cheeses in town right here and you know, I know cheese. They also carry a palethra of condiments and other goodies to pair up with their amazing cheeses.

Confituras – You know by now my love for all things Confituras. Add one (or many) of these delicious little jars to a stocking, giftbasket, teachers goodie bag and you are sure to bring many-a-smiles to those you share with and don’t forget one (or two) for yourself.

Der Küchen Laden – The little chef in you will be beaming with glee at this store and you won’t want to leave because there is so much to look at and discover here. Located in Fredricksberg, TX but well worth the hour drive to this quaint little town.

Farm House Delivery – Order something special for the foodie in your life. A gift certificate for the amazing delivery service and some of the finest hand-crafted cuisine in town, you will win over the stomachs…er, hearts of those you cherish. Let’s face it not everyone can go to the farmer’s market every week, life seems to be getting busier and busier so why not have all of those delicious veggies and fruits delivered right to your door?

Kaka’wa Cocoa Beans – Good things really do come in small packages. Fresh roasted and handcrafted in Austin these little cocoa beans are covered in three, yes three, layers of chocolate; white, milk & dark and finished with a dusting of cocoa powder = YUM! These make for the perfect holiday chocolate break (that we could all use, I’m sure) and serve with a little Pilot Coffee and you are ready to take on the world or at least a couple of toddlers and a few local adventures.

Pilot House Coffee – We run around enough during our week, especially during the holiday sseason, why not have your gift delivered AND be local? Pilot house is producing some of THE best coffee in Austin right now and they deliver right to your door via a cute little ecochic scooter.

Spirits – Bringing something alcoholic to the holiday party or as connoisseur’s gift is always a good way to go. Locally crafted Tito’s Vodka (which is now found in all 50 states) or the smaller produced Dripping Springs Vodka works well too. Both are clean and smooth but I find the Dripping Springs just slightly sweeter. Wine also works well in this situation and you already know about the crowd pleasing Becker Iconoclast Cabernet. For the more experienced drinker in your life there’s Balcones Distillery constructing some of the finest whiskey and spirits out there right now.

The Natural Gardener – You really can’t go wrong when choosing something from here for the avid (or not so avid) gardener in your life. From wonderful plants, gardening supplies and adorable yard decor the green thumbs in your life will be pleased.

Three Happy Cows – Cajeta Dulce de Leche, in other words caramel goodness that when slightly heated can be enjoyed on top of your favorite ice cream. It’s perfect on the Local Savour Rustic Apple Pie or serve with some Veldhuizen Bosque Blue, drizzle a little in your coffee, on a muffin or eat it straight out of the jar…you will not be disappointed. Now available through Farm House Delivery.

Uncommon Objects – No food here but this little gem is delightfully smothered in vintage oddities that you simply can’t find anywhere providing supreme green shopping and giving this season. With over 20 purveyors under one roof you are sure to find something that will tickle you with delight and enchant even finicky beneficiaries on your holiday list.
